With volleyball season underway, you know the top players to watch in your area. Below are some unsung heroes who may fly below the radar, but are assests to their team.

Kodi Poncho - Bethany

Kodi is a hard-worker, has a good attitude, and puts others before herself.

Zamiree Britt - Putnam City

Zamiree, PC North’s setter, works hard every practice and game to get a great set to a hitter who will get all the credit. She loves what she does on the court and supports her teammates anyway she can.

India Morgan - Putnam City West

Also a two-time state champion on the track, India is an undersized middle blocker with incredible speed and vertical who deters a lot of opposing hitters from swinging.

Dylan Sokolosky - Bishop McGuinness

Her position (setter) lends itself to be a true unsung hero. She gets more touches than anyone and without her, the offense doesn’t function.

Sarah Jane Pitzer - Crossings Christian

She steps up and makes plays when the team needs a motivational boost.

Elise Diamond - Shawnee

As one of the setters, Elise is basically the quarterback of the team. She wears so many hats to make her team succeed. She is very athletic and talented.

Jasmine Coleman - Del City

Jasmine always does what is best for the team, and her work ethic is excellent.

Alexis Emerson - Midwest City

Alexis is a wonderful person all-around.
