Coach Wade Standley and his staff return six starters to the field this season as Deer Creek takes on another challenging schedule. The offensive line appears to be one of the strengths for the offense this season. Leading the way is Jake Sexton (6-6, 315, Jr.). The big man sets the tone for the offense and is crucial to the overall success of the team. Logan Ward (6-1, 215, Sr.) starts at tight end giving the offense a threat in the passing game and someone who can help run block. Ward will also handle the kicking and punting duties. Quarterback Gavin Houska (6-0, 200, Sr.) is an experienced quarterback and a solid leader. Houska will help younger talent at running back and wide receiver develop as the season moves forward. The coaching staff will consist of Lance Tignor, Steve Neal, Colin Roberts, Ross Carter, Derek Dennis, Russell Caldwell, Kent Hixson, Mason Myers, Jared St. John, Tyler Scarborough, and Alston Brown.

Defensive end Reed Eden (6-3, 230, Sr.) is quick off the edge and someone who can cause all kinds of problems in the backfield along with fellow defensive end Minke Compton (6-0, 245, Sr.) who plays with great leverage from his wrestling experience. Asher Blue (6-1, 215, Sr.) and Eli Dunn (6-1, 190, Jr.) are two hardcore linebackers looking to wreck things and cause problems for ball carriers. The secondary features Jevion Jones (6-1, 180, Jr.), a speedy cover man with excellent ball instincts. Look for the Antlers to base in the 3-4 as they use linebackers to force the issue and dare quarterbacks to test their skills.
