With Football season underway, you know the top players to watch in your area. Below are some unsung heroes who may fly below the radar, but are assests to their team.

Kaiden Ballard Stevenson – Guthrie

Kaiden has become a leader in the locker roo/weightroom, is very athletic, a smart player, a three-year starter on defense and special teams. His offensive role should increase as a senior this year.

Sam Vailant - Edmond North

Sam currently has a 4.11 GPA and scored a 30 on his ACT. Numerous community service projects with BSA Troop 78 and several maintenance projects at Vintage Church. Sam’s leadership qualities are extraordinary. He leads by example consistently on a daily basis and will be a vocal leader when it is needed. “He is the only 6A offensive lineman that I know of that has received a state medal in swimming,” said his coach.

Ryan Denny - Edmond Santa Fe

A great teammate and player, Denny shows up every day and goes to work. A three-year starter who does whatever is asked; a key part of team success.

Bryan Sepulveda - Oklahoma Christian Academy

Sepulveda is senior, plays center, a hard worker and a great leader.

Peyton McIntire - Oklahoma Christian School

Three-year starter McIntire is a “do everything” type of player. Consistent presence on both sides of the ball, at different times.
