BOYS

Coach: Corky McMullen

2019-20 Record: 22-3

The table is set, and the Midwest City Bombers are ready to eat. Head coach Corky McMullen returns a team full of hungry dogs looking to chew through anything that gets in their way. “The year’s team has a lot of guys who are hungry to learn. Our mission has been to get 1 percent better every day. We have a good core of returners mixed with some young talent. Our practices will be very competitive, which will allow us to grow every day,” said coach McMullen. Makale Smith (6-1, Sr.) can score at a high-level averaging 15 points and 3.0 rebounds a game. Isreal Hart (6-3, Sr.) makes everyone around him better. The guard averaged 7.0 points and 3.0 assists last season. Kevin Overton (6-5, Jr.) averaged 12 points and 3.0 rebounds. He can score on all three levels. Ethan Ganaway (6-4, Sr.) is the team’s JYD (Junk Yard Dawg). Other players to watch include Keivon Hudson (6-5, Jr.) at forward, Jacobi Sebock (6-4, Jr.) at guard, Dylan Sebock (6-4, Jr.) at forward and Artez young (6-0, Jr.) at guard. Keep an eye on underclassman Jamarion Hamilton. SOMETHING TO WATCH – Smith is an explosive player who can finish a drive at the rim. Also look for Kevin Overton to solidify himself as the leader of this team. His confidence in his abilities and his teammates makes him a natural leader.
